Naval and Shipbuilding TIG Filler Rods with IRS Class Certification — Cupro-Nickel, Nickel-Copper, Stainless and Mild Steel

Six grades are our regular shipyard supply: ERCuNi (UNS C71581) and ERNiCu-7 (N04060) for seawater piping and nickel-copper components, ERCuNiAl (C63280) nickel-aluminium bronze, ER70S-2 for hull and structural root passes, ER309L for stainless-to-steel joints and ER316L for stainless outfitting. All are supplied as 1000 mm rods in 1.6, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.15 mm diameters with Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) class certification.

We do, directly. IRS inspection of the consignment is arranged and attended by Vasundhara Performance Solutions in our own name before despatch, independently of the manufacturer, and the inspection charges are built into our quoted rate, so the yard receives certified material without raising a separate survey request.

Yes. Shipyard orders are normally supplied in up to three lots against a single order, with a lead time of four to five weeks per lot from the date of the purchase order, delivered to the yard stores freight-paid.

Yes. We are a regular supplier of class-certified ferrous and non-ferrous TIG filler rods to Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Visakhapatnam, for both new-construction and repair yard numbers.

The IRS certificate for the consignment, the manufacturer’s mill test certificate per heat and batch, the AWS/SFA classification data sheet and the MSDS. Where the yard’s welding procedure calls for a specific heat or batch, we hold the same batch for the follow-on lots where stock allows.
