Our Oxy-Fuel Gas Cutting Equipment Range
The complete Ador gas cutting portfolio — torches, nozzles, regulators, manifolds, hose assemblies, flashback arrestors. Stocked in Hyderabad for same-day or next-day dispatch.
Manual Cutting Torches — Hi-Spark, Quickcut
Ador Hi-Spark and Quickcut manual cutting torches — ergonomic grip, lever-trigger oxygen jet, replaceable cutting nozzles. Hi-Spark for general fabrication, Quickcut for heavy-duty scrap and demolition. Cuts 6-300 mm mild steel with appropriate nozzle selection.
Machine Cutting Heads
Mechanised cutting heads for CNC tables and straight-line cutting machines. Compatible with various cutting machine OEMs. For high-volume plate cutting where machine-mounted torch delivers consistent cut quality and operator safety vs handheld.
Gouging Torches
Carbon-arc gouging torches (for metal removal in repair work) and oxy-fuel gouging torches (for removing weld defects, back-gouging weld roots, removing rivet heads). Used in shipyard repair, structural rework, and refinery maintenance.
Cutting Nozzles — Multi-Gas
Nozzles for acetylene (ANME standard), LPG (PNME standard), and propane (PNME) — chosen based on local gas availability. Acetylene nozzles for fastest cut speed; LPG/propane for cost-effectiveness on bulk cutting where speed is secondary. Sizes 1/32" to 1/2" orifice for plate thicknesses 6-300 mm.
Pressure Regulators & Flow Meters
Single-stage regulators (basic, cost-effective) and two-stage regulators (precision pressure control for production work) for oxygen (up to 200 bar inlet) and fuel gas (10-15 bar inlet). With pressure gauges, safety relief valves, BIS-IS 11006 certification.
Multi-Cylinder Manifolds, Flashback Arrestors & Hose Assemblies
4 / 8 / 12-cylinder header manifolds for fabrication-shop multi-station setups. Flashback arrestors (cylinder-side mandatory per IS code, torch-side recommended) prevent flame travelling back to cylinder. Twin-line hose assemblies (red/oxygen, blue/fuel) per IS 2643, with safety couplings.
Industries & Applications We Serve
Where oxy-fuel gas cutting remains the practical choice over plasma or laser — especially in field, scrap, and demolition applications.
Shipyard plate cutting & ship-breaking
Cochin Shipyard, Mazagon Dock, Alang ship-breaking yards — manual cutting torches for plate parting, plate removal, large-section cutting where mobile equipment is essential.
Scrap processing & demolition
Steel scrap yards, building demolition, equipment dismantling — oxy-fuel is the universal field-cutting choice for portability and ability to cut massive sections (>200 mm).
Structural steel fabrication
Backup and secondary cutting in CNC plasma shops, plus full-time use in smaller structural shops where CNC investment isn't justified. General fabrication of beams, brackets, plates.
Field construction & refinery turnaround
Pipeline tie-ins, refinery turnaround maintenance, construction-site mobile cutting — oxy-fuel kits are portable and require only gas cylinders + cylinders, no electrical infrastructure.
Railway workshop & heavy maintenance
Railway workshops (Lallaguda, Vijayawada, etc.), heavy-equipment service depots, agricultural-equipment repair — oxy-fuel torches for cutting heat-treated steels and unusual material combinations.

- GeM-registered for PSU and defence procurement
Frequently Asked Questions
When is oxy-fuel gas cutting preferred over plasma cutting?
Oxy-fuel wins on (1) very thick plate cutting (>50 mm where plasma struggles); (2) field/portable cutting where no electricity is available; (3) bulk scrap and demolition where operator skill is high and capital cost is low; (4) ship-breaking and mobile cutting operations. Plasma wins on (1) cleaner cut edges; (2) faster cutting on plate thicknesses 6-50 mm; (3) cutting non-ferrous metals (aluminium, stainless cleanly); (4) CNC mechanised cutting. Most large fabrication shops use both — plasma for production, oxy-fuel for field, repair, and special-thickness work.
Which cutting nozzle do I need — acetylene, LPG, or propane?
Acetylene gives the highest cutting speed and best cut quality, but acetylene is more expensive and the cylinders heavier. LPG and propane are cheaper, more available in tier-2 cities, and safer to store. For production cutting where speed matters: acetylene nozzles (ANME standard). For bulk or budget cutting where speed is secondary: LPG/propane nozzles (PNME standard). Nozzles are NOT interchangeable between gases — using a propane nozzle with acetylene damages the nozzle and creates safety risk.
Are flashback arrestors really mandatory, and where should they be fitted?
Yes — flashback arrestors are mandatory under IS code on the cylinder-side (between regulator outlet and hose). Indian factory inspectors check this routinely. Torch-side flashback arrestors (between hose and torch) are strongly recommended but not always legally mandatory. Both significantly reduce risk of flame travelling back to cylinder during a flashback event. We supply both cylinder-side and torch-side units — typical cost is small relative to the safety benefit. Most insurance providers also require both.
Do you supply gas cutting equipment as complete kits, or individual components?
Both. Starter kits typically include: cutting torch, set of nozzles (3-5 sizes), single-stage regulators (oxygen and fuel-gas), 10m twin-line hose with flashback arrestors, and goggles + spark lighter. Suitable for general-purpose fabrication shops. Production setups order components individually based on existing infrastructure (manifolds, multiple work stations, cutting volumes). We help spec out either approach based on your operation.
What pressure regulators do you stock for oxygen and acetylene cylinders?
Standard cylinder pressures: industrial oxygen at 150-200 bar (depending on cylinder), industrial acetylene at 15-19 bar (acetylene is unstable above ~30 bar). We stock single-stage regulators (basic, ~₹3,000-5,000 per regulator) and two-stage regulators (precision pressure stability, ~₹7,000-12,000 per regulator). Two-stage recommended for production cutting where consistent flame is essential. All stocked with IS 11006 certification, gauges, and safety relief valves.
Do you supply multi-cylinder manifolds for fabrication shops?
Yes. We supply Ador 4-cylinder, 8-cylinder, and 12-cylinder header manifolds for fabrication shops needing multiple simultaneous cutting stations from a centralised gas supply. Manifolds include: high-pressure header pipe, individual cylinder connection valves, central regulator, isolation valves, and flashback protection. We coordinate installation, commissioning, and pressure-test certification. Typical installations: shipyard fab shops (12-cylinder), structural shops (8-cylinder), small fabricators (4-cylinder).
