Low-hydrogen (E7018) electrodes must be re-dried at 250–300°C for 1–2 hours after pack opening and held in a 100–150°C oven at the workstation — standard practice for hydrogen-controlled welding. Current ranges are typical manufacturer settings; the WPS governs.
