Inverter welding machines, plasma and CNC cutting, fume extraction.
Fire protection equipment
Hydrant and landing valves, hoses and couplings, branch pipes and nozzles, sprinklers, foam equipment, extinguishers.
Surge & electrical protection
Type 1, 2 and 3 surge protection devices, solar PV and data-line protectors, replacement modules.

Maintenance aerosols, anti-seize and anti-spatter compounds, and the small items that would otherwise ship separately.

Sri Lanka
Ports and routes: Colombo by sea
The India–Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement (in force since 2000) gives preferential duty on many lines with an ISFTA Certificate of Origin; SAFTA is the fallback where a line is not covered.
Bangladesh
Ports and routes: Chattogram by sea; by road through Petrapole–Benapole
SAFTA Certificate of Origin. Imports into Bangladesh are normally made against a letter of credit, so we quote to LC terms from the start.
Nepal
Ports and routes: By road, usually through Raxaul–Birgunj
Trade under the India–Nepal Treaty of Trade, invoiced in Indian rupees. Goods move by truck from our Hyderabad warehouse or direct from the maker.
Bhutan
Ports and routes: By road through Jaigaon–Phuentsholing
India and Bhutan trade freely under their bilateral agreement, in rupees. Small consignments are practical because the whole journey is by road.
Maldives
Ports and routes: Malé by sea
SAFTA Certificate of Origin. Resorts, utilities and marine operators buy mixed consignments — lubricants, fire equipment and spares in one lot.
What changes for a South Asian order
- Rupee invoicing. Nepal and Bhutan trade in Indian rupees. For Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Maldives we invoice in US dollars, or in rupees where your bank supports rupee settlement.
- Road consignments. By road there is no container minimum, so a pallet of electrodes and a few drums of oil can move together. We prepare the export documents for the land customs station as well as the invoice set.
- Same grades as India. Plants in the region usually run the equipment Indian plants run, so the grade that works in India is normally the right one. We specify from the machine and the duty, not from a guess.
Documents with every shipment
- Commercial invoice and packing list, drum and pallet marks as you specify
- Certificate of Origin — the preferential certificate wherever an agreement with India applies, otherwise the standard chamber certificate
- Safety data sheet for every item; test certificates or certificates of analysis where applicable
- UN-approved packing and declarations for anything hazard-classified
- Incoterms — EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF
- Payment — Advance TT or a letter of credit at sight; rupee invoicing for Nepal and Bhutan, US dollars elsewhere unless your bank settles in rupees. See export payment terms.

Questions from South Asia buyers
Can you deliver to Nepal and Bhutan by road?
Yes. Nepal is usually served through the Raxaul-Birgunj crossing and Bhutan through Jaigaon-Phuentsholing. Road delivery has no container minimum, so mixed pallets of lubricants, welding consumables and spares are practical. Both countries trade with India in rupees.
Which certificate of origin do Sri Lankan buyers need?
For preferential duty, an ISFTA Certificate of Origin under the India-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement. Where a line is not covered by the ISFTA, a SAFTA certificate may apply instead. Send your HS codes and we will tell you which one each line needs.
Do you accept letters of credit from Bangladesh?
Yes. Most Bangladeshi imports are made against a letter of credit, so we quote to LC terms and prepare the documents to match the credit exactly - invoice, packing list, bill of lading or lorry receipt, and SAFTA Certificate of Origin.
What is the smallest order you will ship to South Asia?
By road to Nepal, Bhutan or Bangladesh a single pallet is workable. By sea to Sri Lanka or the Maldives, consolidating several categories into one shipment is what makes smaller quantities viable. Send the requirement and we will say plainly whether the volume works.
